富士五湖の一つの山中湖。桂川の源流の一つであり、周囲13.87kmで最大13.6mとバスフィッシングのやりやすい有名レイクでもあります。年間平均気温9.4℃と北海道並みの冷涼な気候で夏シーズンに人気があります。

入漁料

• 日釣券600円 (現場売り1,200円)
• 中学生、女性、70歳以上のシニアは日釣券300円（現場売り600円）
• 年券7,500円
• 中学生、女性、70歳以上のシニアは年券3,750円
• 小学生以下は無料

Bank fishing is not too bad, but I strongly recommend to take the benefit of boating. Due to the shallowness of this lake, it is critical to get good information at boathouse then head for that point.
