How to Score

1 fish landed in net fitting the regulation will be count as 1 point. Hook must be set at fish's mouth either from inside or outside while other hook up will be regarded as found hoooking.

When landing legal catch, please check in with a controler near by.

All hook sets must be done within the session time, however, you can land the fish in extended time.
Every tackle without a valid fly tied at the end of line system will be penalized by -1 point, so please be mindful.

Entry into the Fishing Venue

Please show up plenty before the start time and complete payment of admission fee to the area fishery. If you would like to practice beforehand, please be sure to avoid fishing the competition designated zone (marked with cones and flags) which will be regarded violation.

Admission, Drawing, and Orientation

Admission to the competition match begins on designated time. Please complete payment of play fee at the admission (lunch included).

All players draw to determine his/her player ID (eg. A1 - B36) that are sorted into Group A and Group B for the matching session where B Players will score A Players while standing by for his/her session.

1st Qualifier Match: 80 min

Group A Player will be paired agaist the player with ID next in number (eg. A-3 vs A-4)　Group B Player just the same.

Result will determin "Winners Group" and "Losers Group".

2nd Qualifier Match: 80 min

Winners of the 1st Qualifier will be matched against other winners sorted into 2nd Qualifier sorted into groups of 4 players.

All qualifiers from Winners Group move to Semi-Final.
1 qualifier from Losers Group move to Play Off.

Lunch Break

All players gather back at the admission tent/area for lunch break.

Semi Final Match & Consolation Match: 30 min

Qualfiers of 2 qualifier matches play against each other in Semi Final to determine the top 3 players.
Losers from the 2nd Qualifier play in all-in consolation match to qualify 1 qualifier to move to Play Off.

2nd Consolation Match

All who lost in the first 2 qualifiers join the 2nd consolation match. Only 1 winner moves to the 3rd Place Play Off

3rd Place Play Off: 30 min

Play Off will be played by 1) a qualifier from the Consolation Match, 2) a qualifer from the 2nd Consolation Match, and 3) Rank 3 player from Semi Final to determine who will be the 3rd place.

When scores don't break-even, Sudden Death Match is added to determine who qualifies.

Final Match: 30 min

Top 2 players from Semi Final play against each other to decide for the 1st and 2nd places on Final.

Award & Bingo Game

TOP 3 players will be awared with trophy and warm cheering from all players to share the victory flies contributed to their winning scheme.

Bingo Game is held to provide everyone something fun to bring home with. Drawing is provided to pick a number.

Regulations

A beat for competitor will vary depends on the venue
All players must cast & fish within the given lane extended from the beat otherwise the catch will be forefeit
It will be illegal to cast into other player's beat & lane
Only one fly tackle can be fished at a time
Up to 4 fly tackle can be set up, and every tackle must have a fly or score will be deducted as penalty (-1 per invalid tackle per session) at the end of session
Fly rod must be 11 feet or shorter, switch rod is permitted
No faul hooking or trick fishing (such as using wooden ball mimicing the noise of pellet) is permitted
Only one fly per tackle is permitted and it must be dressed on barbless hook
Your fly must not use soft plastic, fish skins, or fishing formulas
You can add shot or indicator in your desired line system at your will
Landing net must be within 122cm in length made if rubber not to harm fish
No fish grip such as Bogagrip is allowed to protect the jaws of fish
Please keep your fish in the landing net as you check in with controller and make the best effort for quick release to keep the fish safe and sound
All other non-sportmanhood acts are not permitted

Enter Result into TFFCC Fly Scoring

Players can register tournament results into TFFCC Fly Scoring in the same season. Each catch will be counted as checking in the limit size "20cm" which makes # fish x 20 = score points plus event bonus of 100pt will be awarded.

Season's TOP 3 will be awarded at the early tournament next year by TFFCC Comissioner.
