Bass of Ace
As heavy rain was soaking the motorway like river, Lou and I were speeding to Hachioji for bass fishing pond. We could go further to lakes in Kanagawa or Yamanashi for more natural environment, but I was not yet at full strength from the recent illness and driving far in heavy rain won't help that at all.
Weather cleared up as we killed time in local Japanese restaurant, so we settled in Ongata Bass Fishing Pond.
Thanks to messy weahter turning away others, we could fit 2 fly anglers into this small pond.
Almighty gurgler pattern catching the first bass of the day.
Lou got a hang of the game with gurgler and caught about 10 bass.
