My dad took me around fishing in Lake Ashi, seabass jigging, and mountain stream trout fishing when I learnt that fly catches fish more productively and got hooked into this sports.
Favourite Fly Fishing
My go-to-river was River Katsura where I took train from Tokyo at secondary school student’s price becoming match-the-hatch enthusiast.
Then my love for mightiness of fly fishing led me to saltwater with seabass all the way to Atlantic tarpon.
Now I have retuned to trout rivers extending my love of match-the-hatch games while taking time to fly to Hokkaido for more trouts. Not very keen on low-weight fly rod casting heavy nymph rig being not as intuitive, comfortable., or immersive as experience.
